Dear Lord Jesus,
With heavy hearts, we come before You today.
We grieve deeply over the sudden passing of our beloved Brother Xian Guo Zeng, whom You have called home.
Lord, we are reluctant to let him go. We weep, and we do not fully understand why this happened so suddenly. Yet we still bow before You, trusting that Your will is perfect and without error.
Lord, we thank You for using Brother Zeng’s service, love, and testimony in the church to bless many people. Thank You for guiding and preserving him throughout his earthly journey and allowing him to partake of Your grace. Now his labor and burdens have been laid down, and he rests peacefully in Your loving arms.
Lord, we especially ask You to comfort his family, relatives, friends, and all the brothers and sisters in the church. In times of weakness and sorrow, we need Your presence the most. Please wipe away their tears and strengthen their grieving hearts. Remind us that those who believe in You do not perish but sleep in the Lord and will one day rise again in glory.
Lord, through this event, remind us how brief life on earth truly is. Everything in this world will pass away, but You and Your word endure forever. Help us while we still have today to love You, follow You, preach the gospel, and prepare ourselves to meet You.
Lord Jesus, we peacefully entrust Brother Xian Guo Zeng into Your loving hands.
May all glory be given to You, and may peace be with the church.
